  • Improved balance scenario for 1941

    I have created in TripleA a version of this with some tweaks to improve balance. It should appear on the map list and in-game downloader soon, until then you can download from https://github.com/triplea-maps/world_war_ii_v6_1941_Balanced

    My changes are

    Win by taking a capital without losing a capital. Capitals have a bunker that defends at 3 and adds 1 to defending infantry strength. Russian income and starting money increased. Urals have a value of 2, Siberia a value of 1. Factories added in Sichuan and Southern Europe. Factories are destroyed when captured. Added a US destroyer on the East Cost.

    I am putting the finishing touches on East and West-Standard. I am going to test the balance in Hard AI. I may split into two scenarios, one where the Arab_League is part of the Eastern alliance and another where it is part of the Western alliance.

    The original game is an interesting game about the race for the Moon in the 1960’s. I saw the playtest version of the new edition at Pax Unplugged and it looks great.

    @Akiba Are you playing with the Larry Harris setup. It strengthens India substantially, making it hard for the Axis to get India quickly.
