THe part where it showed the video, and you see an alien for the first time, I jumped. But over all the aliens were not that scary. I mean you can trap them with a pantry door, and beat them to death with a bat.

They are fast and strong, but they didn’t seem to use those qualities in combat, only in movement. Given a super soaker or an assault rifle you could probably take out a dozen of the aliens.

im gonna agrree with moses about EE untill u reach the Nano Age. my friend io love the Nano age in EE the Graphics are sweet and the units are cool. and its still kinda realistic. like able to happen. its not 2 far fetched
and it reminds me allot of battletech. and i love the 3-D feature.

Well I dunno. If you asked me (when he wasn’t busting my chops), he was one German I actually liked. I don’t think he was a Nazi, because even as a European, he liked to put down Europeans himself. Always making jokes about German/French women with hairy armpits and how stupid they were for not listen to President Wilson after drinking coffee. He definitely wanted to expand Germany, but not in a shooting way – more like annexation. And he goes back to Germany every year, so it wouldn’t be like he was deported or anything. I think he came here to America because he likes it here (well except, like F_alk, he likes to put down American beer and coffee)

For age, he’s a baby boomer, I reckon. But as I said before, he said that Germans are especially kind to Jews and want them to return to their homeland. As for the other comment he made, I can definitely see Germany getting branded as neo-Nazis if they try to restrict the flow of immigration. Remember all those German jokes from Family Guy?

What I meant is that many people expect Orange County to be this “model” of American suburban life, when in fact, it isn’t (or at least not today). Well CC, you’re the medical guy, so I can see your feelings about ER. Lawyer shows (and there are too many to count on TV) deserve similar criticisms. Trust me, my older brother is into law, and he can tell you right away, law is not as “dramatic” as they make it out on TV. Most of the time it’s spent in a small office room going over hundreds of pages of text and legal documents. As for the Courtroom, expect to bring a pillow - you will be napping most of the time. As for me, I’m more of the American, political heritage type, so I can pick a bone with the West Wing right away. For example (as a pro-gun advocate), President Josiah Bartlet pronounced the Second Amendment “stupid-ass.” After all, he said to an aide, we have the police! (Apparently, “West Wing” writers don’t know that the amendment exists to protect citizens against tyranny of government.) :wink:

In modern American Politics, I fall to either side depending upon the issue, somewhat Centrist but, to pull a moses, radical centrism.

OVerall though, I support Capitalism (because Communism cannot work), am against abortion and believe that drug use and prostitution are problems which can be solved, so I fall to the right.

well, we do “care” about the environment - prolly more than America, as well as many other nations. We are the home of Greenpeace, afterall. Also there are many “renewable resource” programs in place, and dozens of friends of mine spend their summers working tree-planting for these logging companies, etc.
No no, not logging. Our shame is in Alberta - a province that is working against Kyoto and environmental measures (it’s the Texas of Canada - with the good and the bad), not that Ontario is so great either - much industry near Toronto etc. Also we do waste quite a bit. Nice having all that landfill room.

i always understood it to mean “the administration of the working-structure you are responsible to” - i.e. your boss, the company exec’s and other management, etc.
