Note that just because you use triplea, that doesn’t mean you can’t setup the board and play it out. You need a dice server and triplea has that and it types all your moves out for you

That works for me.  Just trying to get some more games under the belt and a better understanding of TripleA and the game in general.

Well, I don’t know who’s official but I’ve played hundreds of games of A&A over many years.

Normally veteran players on the site would count the first 6 as the bombardment and count it a miss.

However, your friend is not a veteran player on the site.  He is pretty confused because he rolled 4 ships when only one can bombard.

I would strongly suggest that you re-roll the bombardment, with one die.  Keep the infantry miss.

I’m looking for an opponent to play LotR against. I’ll take either faction.

Exactly the point…everybody quit…the tournament was way too long- a great tourny- just too long.  Players lose for endurance reasons not so much on gameplay.

Didn’t we start with 32 teams with so many teams and players falling off like flies b/c of time commitments???  So sad.
For those that stuck it out…congrats…you just ran a marathon. :-)

Just to let everyone know, there is a gaming convention this weekend at the Sheraton hotel near LAX. There will be many A&A games going on, plus an A&A tournament. If you’re interested in the tournament, it starts at 9AM…

Are you still interested in a PBEM game?

I am new to this, so I may need some help with the PBEM mechanics.  I have downloaded tripleA and have played a number of games against myself in local mode.  I will definitely commit to finish what I start and will not disappear on you.  I believe I can do a turn or more/day skipping some weeknights as events dictate.  I would prefer no tech (enough going on in the game without worrying about that complication).  You can have choice of sides.
