Yes, the airbase plan is a good one.  I had calculated enough regardless to protect India (especially with the ‘mighty’ Russian Airforce), and would not have attacked Jordan if you had gone to FIC, but yea, the airbase there would have been a strong move to threaten z54.  Australia would have fallen I’m pretty sure, so my survival would depend on the Americans liberating either Hawaii or Hong Kong before a round was up.

I’m not kidding about coming out either…besides my kids, I have one hobby… A&A.  Pretty shameful.  I don’t ski anymore, don’t go out drinking, don’t go to sporting events anymore, don’t hunt anymore, don’t go boating, biking, hiking, or climbing, but I’ll be darned if I am going to quit A&A’ing.  I havent been successful at getting an A&A group together here as yet…

It was the thursday after x-mas and all was axis… :evil:
We decided to try a handicap-tournament at our gaming club www.caac.dk

Ghostglider will provide the house and the house-rules-of-the-day.

We rank our 12 almost-regular players from 1 to…duh…12  :roll:

Pending who shows up and how many, we will play a knockout tournament with
the difference in ranking = 1 inf in a capitol and 1 reroll.
I.E #1 - that´ll be the (in)famous Ghostglider vs. # 9 - say Frank.
In that game Frank will have 9 rerolls (one whole round of combat, not the entire combat) and 8 inf
starting the game in his capitols. He must put one in each before placing 2 and so forth.
Ghostglider will have one reroll to make it a little fun for him too. If you want your opponent to reroll
it´ll cost 2 rerolls.

I´ll let you know friday how it went…

Cools, life is calming down.  Other than making Christmas Eve Dinner and cleaning up, I’m good to go if you want to start that game.  Just post a link in here so it will definitely show up. (If I dont have a lot of time, I don’t hit the all unread posts link to find all new posts, I just hit show new replies to your posts to get the ones that are important.)

i can play combining Ur battle map and my triple a and do the dices here but i simple have now will and time for that

and there is plenty of chances for mistakes here

i have a proposition for the tournament next year ( which i suppose will be played)

what about creating groups of somekind

2,3,4,5 or whatever number of players in each group

and then making quarterfinals/semifinals/finals

THIS HOW:

we would be playing more games
we would be having each player playing at least a few games
and we could be playing all the group games at once (with a speed that can be done but all at once) and avoiding ˝the waiting˝ we have here when one player finishes quickly and than it has to wait a lot to play his opponent

I agree with everything you said.  I really fumbled on the middle east.  The push pull between sealion and the middle east is a conundrum for the allies.
